Getting Started
Welcome to NIMAI Labs! This guide will help you set up your account and create your first project.
Create your account
Sign up with your email at nimailabs.com. During onboarding, you'll choose your role (artist, professional, or both), set your preferences, and tell us about your music.
Create your first project
From the dashboard, click "Create project". Choose a name, select the type (single, EP, or album), and optionally set a mood and release target date. NIMAI will create your project with the right phases to guide you from start to finish.
Add tracks
Inside your project, go to the Tracks tab. Add tracks and move them through phases: Idea → Writing → Recording → Mixing → Mastering → Done. Upload audio files, write lyrics, and add annotations as you go.
Collaborate
Invite collaborators to your project from the Collaborators tab. Generate an invite link and share it. Collaborators can join as viewers (read-only) or editors (full access). Invitation links expire after 7 days.
Stay on track
Use the Overview tab to see your project health, time horizon, and daily momentum. NIMAI sends you personalized nudges and check-ins to keep you motivated. Set a target release date to see your countdown.
